Sea Containers operate the popular route from Troon, Scotland to Belfast, Northern Ireland across the Irish Sea. The pioneering fast vessels the company operates on this route halved journey times previsously offered by competing companies. The Company offers a year round service for passengers and vehicles between Heysham and the Isle of Man. Twice daily services are served by the Ben-my-Chee with a crossing time of 3 hours 30 minutes. Additional fast craft with a journey time of 2 hours runs during the summer months. A year round service runs between Liverpool and the Isle of Man. Fast craft vessels run between April and October with twice daily services at a crossing time of 2 hours 30 minutes. During winter a conventional ferry operates at weekends with a crossing duration of 4 hours. Services to Dublin and Belfast are operated by fastcraft upto four times weekly between Easter and the end of September.
